Corby Town Council declares climate emergency

At the full town council meeting on 9th August, Corby Town Council unanimously declared a climate emergency. The council fully supports measures to combat climate change, and are setting up a committee to look at what positive action the Town Council can take, to ensure our future generations have a sustainable planet and to minimise climate catastrophes that we have seen recently – flooding, wildfires and other extreme weather conditions. The Town Council will report back regularly on its progress on this crucial matter.
