All England Highland Dancing Championship 2022

Cllr Martyn Reuby, Cllr Alison Dalziel and Cllr Ross Armour were delighted to attend this years All England Highland Dancing Championships which was held at the Grampion Club over the 9th and 10th July, and welcomed dancers and visitors from all over the UK.

The event which was well attended, relied on sponsorships and volunteers to make it happen under the stewardship of the Amanda Gibson and Amanda Tilley. Cllr Martyn Reuby, who was invited to open and present some of the awards quoted "I was delighted to attend and be asked to present the awards this year. It was a real privilege to see so many talented dancers and well done to all that made this event happen this year."

Next year the Championships return to its spiritual home at Charter Field in a full Highland Gathering.
