St Andrews night at The Grampian

The Grampian Club extended a warm Scottish invitation to our Deputy Mayor Leanne Buckingham and her consort Kathleen on Friday 25th November at their annual St Andrews Night event.

This was a ticketed event which included a two course meal, starting with a traditional steak pie and in addition a buffet breakfast which was served at 12.00am.

Warm Spaces - Corby

North Northamptonshire Council is looking to coordinate a network of warm spaces this winter to provide support to anyone who is struggling with the cost of living.
We would like to work with community groups, voluntary organisations or any other organisation that would be able to provide a warm space within their community.

Green Jumper Day - Friday 14th October 2022

Corby Town Councillors and officers have signed up to this year's Green Jumper Day and will be wearing a green jumper to work on Friday 14th October.

Green Jumper Day promotes awareness of climate change and was launched in 2021 by the Green Jumper charity. Businesses across the globe and schools across the UK took part in the event and this year plans to be even bigger.

After verifying the votes, we discovered a technical glitch that has affected the votes for the Community Spirit Award category.

Corby Town Council's newly created Environment Committee recently ran a primary school competition to create an eye-catching logo with an environmental theme for the committee.
