An appeal for donations to support refugees from Afghanistan and Corby's food bank has had an overwhelming response.

The initiative, coordinated by members of Corby Town Council, will support projects across the area including Corby Foodbank and local refugee charities. The collection took place from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th September.

Volunteers from the Town Council will be collecting donations for Afghan refugees and Corby Foodbank on Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September from 11 am to 2 pm.
