Corby Big Film Week 4
Corby Town Council were delighted to be able to support Corby Big Film Week 4 by awarding a grant of £2k to HD Media CIC who hosted the event which ran from Sunday 26th – Tuesday 28th February.
Six different films were shown at The Savoy Cinema which were completely free of charge to the public.

Holocaust Memorial Day
Corby Town council came together with the community to reflect on the horrors of the Holocaust and more recent genocides that have taken place since.

Corby Town Council agree a 15p a week increase to precept
Corby Town Council agreed to increase its precept for the coming year, which will see residents pay an extra 15 pence a week.
The decision was approved at last night's meeting of Full Council on Tuesday 17th January. It means that from April the average Band D property will pay £27.41 a year, an extra £7.78 than last year, or 15 pence... Read More »

Holocaust Memorial Evening Friday 27th January 2023
On Friday 27th January 2023 from 5.30pm members of the public are invited to join Corby Town Council to promote and support Holocaust Memorial Day, this international day is dedicated to remembering the six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust.

Food Bank Collection
Corby Town Council will be manning a market stall in the Town Centre on Friday 16th December between 10am and 3pm to collect for the local food bank. The items the food bank are currently most short of are -

St Andrews night at The Grampian
The Grampian Club extended a warm Scottish invitation to our Deputy Mayor Leanne Buckingham and her consort Kathleen on Friday 25th November at their annual St Andrews Night event.
This was a ticketed event which included a two course meal, starting with a traditional steak pie and in addition a buffet breakfast which was served at 12.00am.
