Corby Pride 2024
Corby Town Council will be holding their 2nd Corby Pride event on Saturday 22nd June 2024 and are hoping to go even bigger this year.
Last year's event was a resounding success and saw the town come together as only Corby knows how, by showing a huge support for their LGBT+ community.

Terracycle at Beanfield
A Terracycle box has been set up at Beanfield Community Centre in a trial initative funded by Corby Town Council.
Making more use of hard-to-recycle items is the aim - and in the case of the box at the Beanfield Centre people from across town are able to leave crisp packets, snack packaging and sweet wrappers that will be eventually collected for recycling.

Holocaust Memorial Day 2024
An event organised by Corby Town Council was held on Saturday January 27, to mark Holocaust Memorial Day.
The international day of commemoration remembers the 6 million Jews murdered during the Holocaust, alongside the millions of people murdered under Nazi persecution of other groups and genocides since World War Two in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur.

Mayor Buckingham to take part in the Big Winter Sleepout this weekend
Mayor of Corby Leanne Buckingham, is set to take part in the Big Winter Sleepout event this weekend with her sister Nicola being held at Wicksteed Park. The Big Winter Sleepout is being held in aid of Accomodation Concern.

Budget Consultation continues with public events
Public events on Corby Town Council's budget will be taking place at locations across the town this week.
It will offer an extra chance for people to have their say on the town council's priorities for the next financial year and beyond.

Mayor sees Pole Fair history handover
The Mayor of Corby was present to oversee the presentation of a time capsule about one of the town's most iconic events.
The Pole Fair was held in June 2022. The traditional celebration created by Royal Charter only takes place once every twenty years.
In recent years the Pole Fair's Steering Group has researched all of Corby's Royal Charters and Pole Fairs dating back to the year 1585.

Budget Consultation 2024-25
Corby Town Council is asking residents to participate in setting the spending priorities for the town into 2024-5 and beyond. We want Corby to be the top town council in the UK and this in turn will make Corby a great place to live.
